A minimal, proportioned composition, with the hall stripped, door completely absent, this work is about the interplay of textures and finishes, from the lush deep red carpet, and the glossy white, almost there doorframe against the chalk satin-finish walls; sanded, primed and painted just like a real wall. Through the threshold lies the void, this textureless non-presence that reflects nothing, swallowing the space. Recycling us all.
